Course Description |
The fire service faces a new challenge with hybrid vehicles. The amount of hybrids on the road has increased in number and type within the past year. The fire service needs to be prepared to deal with an extrication involving this type of vehicle. This awareness course will cover; Anatomy of Hybrids, vehicle construction, the electrification procedures, fire fighter safety, safe scene operations, and safe removal of victims. This course is a must for all first responders involving extrication incidents. |
