This is an awareness level course designed to provide basic instruction in WMD, with focus on Radiological/Nuclear terrorist weapons and events. This course is a weapon of mass destruction (WMD) radiological/nuclear overview designed for first responders and other personnel who are likely to be the first to arrive on the scene of a radiological/nuclear incident. It focuses on the basics of radiation, possible health effects, identification, and notification.
