At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the role of Level I trained responders in dealing with a Chemical, Biologic, Radiological, Nuclear, or Explosive (CBRNE) attack. To review some recent history and point out that these CBRNE weapons have been used, including the Tokyo Subway attack in March 1995. To recognize the signs and symptoms of CBRNE poisoning because those frequently will be the first indication of an attack. To describe the proper initial response actions for emergency responders at either a suspected or actual CBRNE incident site.
