Course Description
|
This course introduces the participant to the equipment and basic skills of High Angle Rescue. This course is the 6th of 6 in a series leading to a master Rope Technician certificate. Content includes: Ropes, knots, hardware and equipment, stokes basketwork, mechanical advantage systems, and rescue lowering techniques. This course is a prerequisite for Confined Space Rescue. |
Equipment
|
Leather gloves, boots that support the ankles, hardhat, long sleeve shirt , pants are necessary for all participants. Any rappelling equipment being used by your department may be brought to this class. |
