This course is a continuation of the Rapid Intervention Company Operations course. The student will build on the basic concepts presented in the Rapid Intervention Company Operations class. The course emphasis in the advanced class will be placed upon scene size-up, firefighter survival, and operations during a mayday call, advanced extrication and removal of downed firefighters.
