This course offers streetwise tips and tricks on how to use air monitoring equipment, how to simply interpret the results, and most importantly how to keep everyone safe. The class will provide: (1) an overview of the basic air monitoring equipment in use by first responders today, especially the common multi-gas meter, (2) instructions on how to properly use and maintain air monitoring equipment, (3) tips on what the numbers displayed by the meters mean, and (4) tips on keeping you and your crew safe.
