To prepare for firefighting operations in Nursing Homes, Assisting Living and Group Homes. Learn how to conduct an adequate pre-incident survey in one of the most critical facilities in your response area or provide mutual aid. This course will cover topics including water supply, strategy and tactical operations, deployment of hand lines, fire suppression systems, building services, elevator operations, sprinkler and standpipe operations, and sheltering. In addition, a project at the end of the class will challenge the most experienced firefighter.
